Transit Advertising in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

6 min read · Updated 2026

Transit advertising reaches people while they travel or wait. Because waiting is unavoidable, dwell time is high and attention is genuinely available.

Bus station formats

RTC bus stations offer two complementary formats. Pillar boards line the circulation areas and deliver repeated contact within a single visit. Bus stand hoardings offer scale at the highest-dwell points, such as boarding bays and waiting halls.

Booking both at the same terminal typically produces better recall than doubling up on either.

Railway formats

Railway stations attract a wider audience mix than bus terminals, including long-distance and pilgrimage travellers. Dwell times are long and the environment supports slightly longer messaging.

Train branding extends the same campaign along a route, reaching towns that would otherwise need separate buys.

Bus shelters

Bus shelters sit between transit and street furniture. They serve waiting commuters at eye level while remaining visible to passing traffic, and lit units extend visibility into the evening.

Planning notes

Transit inventory is contract based and moves in cycles, so availability varies through the year. Railway formats in particular need approval lead time built into the schedule.
